Ernesto’s original version is a beautifully produced track that keeps you enthralled and delighted throughout. His talented vocals shine forth leaving no mistake as to why this track has been chosen for a single release, and just why there was such a fight to get hold of it for the remix duty. A beautiful tune that is intelligent and inspired throughout - it's the perfect fusion of angelic vocals, electronic beats and superb production.
Ernesto reached the prestigious and much sought-after position of iTunes ‘Single of The Week’. He has also been seen touring Europe and Japan with Compost Records’ nu jazz/broken beat pioneers Beanfield, collaborating with Swell Session and in action with Plej. His vocals have also been heard on the prime time TV series Six Feet Under and on Jaguar car commercials in the US.
The 12” sees Unai taking on the first of the remix duties. Here he takes his expert house production and works his magic for Ernesto. The remix blends the two styles beautifully and draws us into a world of strange noises and inspired basslines in a dancey, strangely uplifting 4/4 style.
Yukihiro Fukutomi has earnt widespread recognition and respect throughout the international music circuit, and here it is clear to see why. He has created a broken beat remix with beautiful synths, intelligently warped sounds and lovingly produced beats. The vocal mix sees a stripped-down version of the original vocal carefully teased in and interwoven. The dub mix, although the same track without the vocal, seems to get stronger and stronger with every listen.
